Barnstable's Velcro Closure Half Chaps are constructed from the finest quality top grain leather with four Velcro closures for a perfect fit. Elastic instep and full grain top belt with Velcro cinch eliminate slipping. Extra calf protection is provided by a full size leather wear patch sewn onto every half chap. We carry these chaps in a Large, X-Large and XX-Large since half chaps tend to run very small and not to fit a modern day woman. These chaps will allow you to look classy and ride comfortabley all year round. Please read below for you correct measurements and sizing. Make sure you measure around the widest part of your calf while wearing the pants you intend to ride in, usually breeches or jeans. Make sure you have enough room to fit them over you favorite riding pants! To measure the Height/Length for your half chaps: in your stocking feet, measure from the floor to where the knee breaks in back.

Calf measurements are midpoints. Velcro is adjustable 3/4 inch above and below given measurements below. XX LARGE: Calf Width: 20 inches. Regular Length: 16 inches. XLARGE: Calf Width: 18 inches. Regular Length 16 inches. LARGE: Calf Width: 16.5 inches. Regular Length: 16 inches.
